The conversion of an 8.5 acre estate in the center of Meriden into a multi-level community for the elderly with a 60-bed intensive care hospital, 19 cottage units of housing, 14 efficiency units, and a community center. The project includes the rehab of an existing home and barn, and the development of living units within an existing orchard and large shade trees. Careful planning, grading and tree retention gave the project a mature appearance from the day it was completed.
