Grant’s 9 years of professional practice encompass a diverse range of projects that span urban design, mixed-use development, educational, streetscapes & park design, residential, and a variety of other public and private work. Since joining Richter & Cegan, he has played an important role in managing projects from early stages of collaborative design all the way through construction. A registered landscape architect in Connecticut and a SITES Accredited Professional, Grant blends a technical, methodical approach with a keen eye for creating functional, memorable, and lasting spaces.

Grant is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. During his time at UConn, Grant studied abroad at Universität Stuttgart in Germany, a formative experience that deepened his appreciation for intentional, context-sensitive planning and the importance of designing to the human scale.

Grant is an active member of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (CTASLA) and previously served as a Member-at-Large on the CTASLA Executive Committee and Chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee, fostering mentorship and professional growth for early-career landscape architects.

Out from behind his desk, Grant enjoys traveling, exploring historic architecture and landscapes, savoring a good cup of coffee, solving a tough puzzle, and renovating his home one project at a time.
