Josh Egnatz, PLA, ASLA, LEED ND, SITES AP, ISA
Project Manager

Josh’s career spans 20 years of diverse practice across a dozen states and several countries. This sphere of influence has led Josh to gaining licensure in Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Florida. As a client-focused practitioner, Josh is passionate about projects where the best design approaches are revealed through fervent collaboration and good faith communication. He strives to guide projects and their stakeholders towards consensus-driven solutions, and he believes that projects will always be successful when the results are achieved this way.

This empathetic project approach has been applied to his work in urban parks, waterfronts, streetscapes, highways, higher-ed campuses, value methodology, recreational trails, community master planning, courtyards, green rooves, mixed-use development, retail, and residential. Since joining Richter & Cegan, Josh has led several large scale institutional and athletic facility projects, as well as a multitude of more intimate projects including memorial gardens, multi-family residential, and campground facilities.

When not working, Josh raises his two children with his wife in Tolland, Connecticut. He coaches multiple soccer teams, enjoys backpacking with the kids, golfing in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Once his kids are grown, he plans to return to competitive ski racing.
