The Connecticut River Academy, integrated into the Goodwin University campus, is a magnet high school providing environmental science studies as part of the Goodwin University Magnet School system. Set along the Connecticut River, the campus site design is organized to facilitate student interactions with the river as part of their environmental studies focus. The compact 10-acre site includes courtyards and a large lawn activity area overlooking the Connecticut River, providing as much space as possible for outdoor learning opportunities. With new docks and boardwalks offering direct access to the water, students have the opportunity to connect with nature in unique ways.
