This 28-acre town park is designed to utilize the highest part of the site with the largest trees as the central focus from which the circulation emanates and diverse functions occur. The paths ramp up to the center portion, while the various athletic functions maintain more gradual grades, creating amphitheaters for seating and viewing of the activities from the path. The facilities include six clay tennis courts, a lighted Little League field, large scale athletic fields, senior citizens’ recreation area, enclosed shelter, play areas, and a boardwalk through a nature preserve.
